2010 Awards Program & Winners

The WVNLA Awards Program was established to recognize outstanding performance and business practice in the green industry from a WVNLA member.

Judges for the 2010 program were Carter Giltanan, Charleston (noted gardening expert), Traci Bradley (University of Charleston’s Interior Design Program), and Joe Young (Landscape Architect with Triad Engineering, Charleston). Judging criteria was based on overall appearance (design quality, principles and appropriateness), degree of difficulty, quality and appearance of materials, and a written narrative describing project scope, difficulty, and other points of interest. Each first place winner received a $1000.00 award.
